Delete your account and data

This page applies to the Dovea app by TONYC (Jake Benner).

In the app

Open Profile at the bottom right, then Settings.
Scroll to the Danger Zone and tap Delete Account.
Confirm with the word DELETE and – if you linked a password or Google account – by signing in.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, write to support@tonyc.link with the subject "Dovea delete account". Include the email address or Google account you signed in with; for an anonymous account, the name your partner sees for you and the date you connected is enough. I delete the data within 30 days and confirm it to you.

What is deleted

your account (user ID, email address or Google link)
all of the app's data on your device
your notification device token and your link to the couple
every entry you shared as a couple: the couple is dissolved and the server deletes them automatically

What is kept

Purchases: you cancel a Premium subscription in the Play Store or App Store; deleting your account does not end it. I delete the purchase record at the purchase service RevenueCat on request.
Photos in your Google Drive are in your own Drive and stay there until you delete them yourself.
